Laboratory
In order to investigate the ways in which artistic creation brings meaning to spiritual experience, the laboratory is based on a novel interdisciplinary methodology combining participation in spaces of spiritual practice, personal and collective artistic exploration, self-description of one’s own experience using journals, collaborative reflection through philosophical dialogue, audiovisual records, and hermeneutic analysis of the participants’ products.
As a pretext and basis for our explorations, we use seven dimensions of spiritual experience, working with them in five-week cycles:

Each cycle begins with a residential workshop and continues with the creative and reflective work of the artist-researchers.
